Emotions have a huge impact on our lives. A lot of people feel that their emotions are like a Rollercoaster that is very hard to handle and that leave them exhausted at the end of each day. If you struggle getting your emotions under control, the following are some verses from the holy Quran that will help you reach a state of peace:

When people are rude

“And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorants address them, they say words of peace” – (Quran 25:63)

When you feel lonely

“God is the ally of those who believe. He brings them out from darknesses into light. And those who disbelieve – their allies are Taghut. They take them out of the light into darknesses. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.” – (Quran 2:257)

When you feel sad

“And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, ‘This is what we were provided with before.’ And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally.” – (Quran 2:25)

When you’re too hard on yourself

“Say, O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of God. Indeed, God forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.” – (Quran 39:53)

“And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves, remember God and seek forgiveness for their sins – and who can forgive sins except God? – and do not wilfully persist in the wrong they did.” – (Quran 3:135)

When you face discrimination

“O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of God is the most righteous of you. Indeed, God is Knowing and Acquainted.” – (Quran 49:13)

When you need a friend

“And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein” – (Quran 50:16)

When you feel unappreciated

[And it will be said], “Indeed, this is for you a reward, and your effort has been appreciated.” – (Quran 76:22)

“For indeed, with hardship will be ease.” – (Quran 94:5)

“And be patient, for indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good.” – (Quran 11:115)
